Ogden Inside & Out

Ogden is one strange town.  A “Top 10 Climbing Town”, whatever that is, so-named by the widely read (?) Rock & Ice Magazine; a “Do It All, Whatever the Season” city, according to Men’s Journal; and one of the “20 Best Towns in America”, according to Outside Magazine. The staid old New York Times, which may or may not know anything about what’s happening west of the Hudson River, said authoritatively that "Ogden, Utah, is on several lists today including the best place to do business, the best economy, and the hippest city in America."

The sixth largest city in Utah, Ogden clearly cherishes the businesses that have set up shop there. Outdoors-oriented companies thrive, including these who make Ogden their corporate HQ - Descente, DNA, Salomon, Suunto, Atomic, Goode Ski Technologies, Peregrine, Kahuna Creations, Scott USA and Rossignol. Other resident headquarters include TK, Autoliv, Flying J, FMC Technologies, Hershey, Fresenius Medical, Kimberly Clark, Market Star, Parker Hannifin and Williams International.
