Personalized Oncology Widely Marketed

The latest buzzword in cancer is "personalized oncology." U.S. National Cancer Institute Director John Niederhuber, MD, wrote about the dawn of an era of "personalized cancer medicine" with "specific, targeted therapeutic solutions" in a 2008 Cancer Bulletin editorial. "We are now designing precise therapies to home in on specific targets that result from genomic and functional changes, not only in the tumor cell but also in the tumor microenvironment.”

Many companies have introduced personal oncology products and services, and hospitals and cancer centers worldwide are now marketing personal oncology. This blogger is selling the valuable domain “MyPersonalOncology.com”. Asking $7500, but all offers welcome. Submit your offer as a “comment” to this blog. Home DNA Testing A Reality -- Thanks, Walgreens!

Walgreens, the largest U.S. drugstore chain, was going to sell DNA testing kits this month, but the FDA called the kits into question and Walgreens dropped their plans... for now. The saliva test kits are made by Pathway Genomics. They'll tell when someone is at high-risk to get chronic diseases, including Alzheimer's, cystic fibrosis and Tay-Sachs disease. The test will identify people who carry the genes for such diseases, which they could pass along to their children, even if they don't suffer from the diseases themselves. The market for DNA-related domains (web addresses) is strong. Consider buying any of the domains, which this blogger owns:

Lose Weight, Make Money with Brown Fat (Really!)

It’s confirmed: Scientists have figured out how some fat cells are turned into calorie-burning brown fat (brown adipose tissue) rather than white fat that causes obesity. Chief researcher Stephan Herzig of the German Cancer Research Center says, "Now that we know what’s required to generate brown cells, we have the tools to put everything together and try it out" – that is, using stem cells to promote brown fat cell production in the body.  Since two-thirds of U.S. adults and one-third of children are overweight or obese, there’s real pressure to bring a brown fat weight loss treatment to market.

Soon you can lose weight with brown fat, but TODAY you can make money with BrownFatWeightLoss.com --  the valuable domain (web address) that this blogger is selling cheap. Asking just $250. Make your offer as a confidential “comment” to this blog, or buy the domain through GoDaddy here.

Plus-Size Profits with Plus-SizeWoman.com

Can you believe no one had registered the domain Plus-SizeWoman.com? Or Full-FiguredWoman.com, Full-FiguredWomen.com  or Large-SizeWomen.com? Well, we did, yesterday, and now we’re selling those valuable marketing domains. Got an offer of $5000 for the former, but we’re holding out for something better. Submit your offer as a confidential “comment” to this blog. Create your own new domains here.

This week, clothing company Lane Bryant accused ABC of refusing to run ads for a new line of lingerie because it focused on full-figured women. For almost a century, Lane Bryant has been selling clothes to large-size women. So when the company came out with a new line of lingerie, the company decided to sex up their ad. Apparently it was a little too sexy for a couple of networks. The ads have been blocked and Lane Bryant says it’s bias against full-figured women.

"We knew the ads were sexy, but they are not salacious," said a Lane Bryant spokesperson in a blog. "Our new commercials represent the sensuality of the curvy woman who has more to show the world than the typical waif-like lingerie model." (That's a slap at Victoria's Secret ads that have aired on primetime on ABC and Fox.)

eBx Treatment (ebxtreatment.com) A Godsend for Breast Cancer Victims

200,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer yearly in the U.S. have a fantastic new treatment option -- Axxent® Electronic Brachytherapy or eBx, early-stage breast cancer treatment (eBx treatment). It combines surgery and radiation into one procedure, totally eliminating post-surgical radiation.

eBx treatment began at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Six other U.S. hospitals – in California, Texas, Michigan, New York and Mississippi – are preparing to offer eBx treatment.

One of these hospitals will be smart to buy the domain (web address) ebxtreatment.com from this blogger, and set it to take Googlers directly to the cancer center’s home page for more information. Or, a smart domain investor can buy the domain and resell for lots more. (Submit offer as a comment to this blog; asking $1500, all offers welcome.)
